Stamp Something ,,, Anything !!,,,,,

Good Afternoon ,, am back with another post ,,, last one for the day !! have a HUGE pile of ironing to tackle before any crafting :-(

It is time for a new theme on the Stamp Something Challenge ,,,,

,,,,,,, ANYTHING !! :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Denise at Whimsey Stamps and she is offering a $15 Gift Certificate to her store :-)

Denise gave the DT a choice of any digi stamp from her store ,, there ia such a massive choice !! Something for everyone and for every occasion :-)

I chose this fab Johnny Bird Boots image from Meljen Designs,,, how CUTE is this !!! :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink . I used a Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle die, perfect for tall images. The papers are Bo Bunny and I used a Tim Holtz Burlap embossing folder to make it look like a wall ,,, I wish I had used a contrasting paper at the bottom ,,, ughugh ,, never mind ,,,, !! The flowers are from Prima and the ribbon was in my drawer. The sentiment was in the set from Jak Heaths blog to raise funds for a fellow crafter, Louise, who is fighting a battle with stomach cancer. Please pop over there and support this drive if you haven't already x x x x

I made this card for hubby's brother who has just had heart surgery,, do you think it is a bit too girly ??? ,, am having 2nd thoughts now !!! ,,,

Challenges :

Paper Crafting Journey ,,,, Lets Get Digital
Stampin' B's ,,,, Use a Die Cut
Aly's Sunday ,,,,, Things with Wings
CYDA Anything Goes
Crafty Emma Store ,,,, All Creatures Great and Small

Please pop over to the Stamp Something Challenge blog to see the amazing cards the team have made ,,, such a talented bunch !! :-)

Hi Lorraine :) Thanks so much for visiting my blog, and the lovely comments.

This card is wonderful! I love the DL size, its so unusual now to see something not square, but this looks so elegant. A very classy card, with lovely soft colours, and a perfect image that you have coloured beautifully.

Have a great day
